Fellaini wanted by Besiktas

Besiktas have chosen Marouane Fellaini as their prime target.

Manchester United midfielder Fellaini’s contract is expiring this summer and that has put many clubs on alert. The 30-year-old is a wanted man by several clubs including the big 3 in Turkey.

Besiktas representatives tried to sign him in January however negotiations were unsuccessful with the player’s management. This has not deterred the Eagles however and they are reported to be preparing to offer the Belgian international a lucrative contract.

Since he will be a free agent at the end of the season, no transfer fee would be required to be paid by Besiktas.

Mourinho is adamant he wants Fellaini to sign an extension and stay however the Belgian is after guaranteed regular playing time, something which he has been struggling to get this season.
