Galatasaray going to UEFA to discuss FFP

To prove their finances are in order and avoid another ban, Galatasaray is meeting with UEFA reps.

Two season ago the Lions were handed a one year ban from UEFA for failing to meet their Financial Fair Play requirements. This season, to avoid having the same punshiment, the club have kept their finances in order by keeping their spending within their limits.

Last month Galatasaray set a record for their most expensive sale ever when they sold Badou Ndiaye to Stoke City for €16 million.

The meeting will be held in Nyon, Switzerland on March 9th and it will consist of club chairman Mustafa Cengiz along with Burak Elmas, a member of the board of directors at the club. The duo will present their reports which will consist of current financial balances, financial earnings as well as preventative measures for future scenarios.

Cim Bom have done well to keep within their means since the ban by UEFA and are keeping on track with their goal of playing in the Champions League next season.
