French-born Kubilay Aktas is currently playing in the First League for Istanbulspor. The 23-year-old midfielder has caught the attention of Galatasaray scouts and is wanted by the Lions. Manager Fatih Terim has personally requested his transfer at the end of the season.
The player is also being linked with Metz from France and given his connection to the country, a move would be tempting for the midfielder. Metz have sent scouts to monitor Kubilay and are said to be interested in bringing the player back to France.
Given that his contract ends in the summer, Aktas will be free to go wherever he chooses with no transfer fee necessary to be paid to Istanbulspor.
