Kocaman blocks Valbuena transfer

Aykut Kocaman has told the club to reject an offer from China.

Fenerbahce’s manager Aykut Kocaman has blocked a transfer bid for Mathieu Valbuena according to reports. The French playmaker was subject to an €8 million offer from Chinese Super League club Beijing Renhe FC.

Kocaman is adamant on keeping the player and has made it clear he wishes the player to continue to play for the club at least until the end of the current season. The 33-year-old has appeared 15 times for the club, scoring 5 goals and has missed just 1 game.

The Frenchman was signed in June of 2017 for a €1.5 million transfer fee and penned a three year contract with the club.
