Koray Gunter linked with Serie A clubs

German-born Koray Gunter is being courted by Serie A clubs according to reports.

Koray Gunter’s contract ends once the Super Lig finishes and he will be free to move on from Galatasaray. Reports in Italy and Turkey have emerged linking him with Serie A clubs including but not limited to Lazio, Atalanta and Fiorentina.

The 23-year-old defender has been offered a contract by Cim Bom however he has made it clear he wishes to take on a new challenge in Italy.  Fatih Terim is keen on keeping the young defender and is trying to convince the player to sign a new deal.

As he is in the final months of his current contract, he is allowed to hold talks with clubs and move without a transfer fee, something Galatasray will not be happy about considering they paid €2.5 million to sign him from Borussia Dortmund back in 2014.

The player has made just 8 appearances for Cim Bom this season, 5 of them in the Turkish Cup and 3 in the Super Lig.
