Jahovic opens account with Konyaspor

Adis Jahovic recently moved to Konyaspor from Goztepe and continues his fine form.

Macedonian striker Adis Jahovic continues to tear defenses apart as he scored his first goal for his new club, Konyaspor. The Anatolian Eagles played Besiktas at home tonight, a game which had some questionable moments, with the final result a 1-1 draw.

Besiktas took the lead early in the 1st half however a fine pass from Samuel Eto’o was picked up by Jahovic who made no mistake from inside the penalty box to draw level and make the score 1-1 in the 60th minute.  The goal takes his tally to 15 Super Lig goals keeping him in the race to win the Top Goalscorer award at the end of the season.

The 30-year-old goal specialist scored in the 1st half however the referee disallowed it calling a foul on an opposition player in the build-up.

Jahovic is a new signing at Konyaspor, having been transferred from Goztepe for €1.5 million less than a month ago.
