Ryan Babel causes stir on social media

Ryan Babel has made the headlines for not exactly the right reason today.

Dutch winger Ryan Babel has caused a stir on social media by responding to a message he has received over the weekend. The Besiktas player posted a picture on his Instagram account of what his response was to what appears to be an angry fan.

The picture shows someone using profanity to insult the player and telling him to “go home”. In a witty manner, the 31-year-old responds with a cheeky message which also uses profanity. Turkish social media dwellers have been speculating about the incident so much that it was one of the top trending posts in Turkey. The post has since been deleted by the player.
