Negredo: We got a good win

Besiktas striker Alvaro Negredo played crucial role in tonight’s win against Trabzonspor.

Alvaro Negredo helped his team in several ways tonight but most importantly he assisted both goals as the Black Eagles picked up the three points in Trabzon.

The Spaniard assisted Ryan Babel twice, in the 71st and 78th minute, who found the back of the net with two very precise shots.

“It was a tough match. We leave here tonight with a victory. The opposition had good chances. We all played our part and we got a nice win. I got the assists but Babel’s finishes were very important. There are matches to be played with the teams ahead of us. We will wait for them to lose points.”, he said as his interpreter translated.

Besiktas are in 3rd place with 47 points, just three behind league leaders Galatasaray. With 10 matches left in the Turkish Super Lig, the race is still wide open.
