Denizlispor fan uses crane to watch match

A dedicated fan of Turkish second-tier team Denizlispor found an unusual way to bypass a one-year ban from entering the team’s stadium.

The die-hard Denizlispor fan hired a crane to watch Denizlispor’s 1.Lig match on Saturday against Gaziantepspor at the Atatürk Stadium in Denizli.

He parked it next to the stadium and had an acquaintance raise him high enough so he would have an unobstructed view of the action on the pitch.

The fan hung a big, green-black flag on the platform he was standing on and was seen happily waving a Denizlispor scarf of the same colours.

He was later forced to come down due to police intervention.

However, Denizlispor did not disappoint its die-hard supporter as they thrashed their opponents 5-0 to pick up the three points.
