Half of Europe wants Yazici – agent

Trabzonspor’s Yusuf Yazici is wanted by a host of clubs according to the player’s agent.

Yusuf Yazici, arguably the most wanted young player in Turkey at the moment, is attracting interest from a host of clubs from all over Europe, his agent Erkut Sogut has told the Turkish press.

Sogut, who also represents Germany international Mesut Ozil, claims there are major clubs in England, Germany and Spain that are vying for the player’s signature.

“Yusuf has terrific ability. He’s the best young talent to play in Turkey. He scored 10 goals in the Super Lig and it shows how good he is. His technique is perfect. We’ve received offers from Italy. As his agent, I can say that half of Europe wants Yusuf. We have proposals from major teams in England, Germany and Spain.” the agent told reporters.

Sogut went on to say he believes Italy would be suited best for his client.

“We have offers from Italy. I think a player of his quality would fit perfectly in the Serie A. He is pure talent. He would be well liked in Italy.” he said.

The 21-year-old is expected to leave Trabzonspor this summer however his destination still remains unclear. Arsenal have been linked with the player in the past but nothing has been made official as of yet.
