Fenerbahce’s stadium ready for elections

Fenerbahce’s stadium is ready for the club’s upcoming elections.

Ulker Stadium has been prepared for the chairman elections Fenerbahce will have on June 2nd and 3rd.

Preparations began on Wednesday (May 30) evening and workers have added the final touches to what will be a crucial moment in the history of the Istanbul club.

Half of the field has been covered with special material to protect the pitch from any potential damage and a platform has been set up for walking.

Boxes and cabins have been installed as well as two giant screens for broadcasting.

The clubs current chairman Aziz Yildirim is going up against wealthy businessman Ali Koc, who has pledged to take the club to the next level after years of stagnant growth.
