Roberto Soldado wants to remain at Fenerbahce

The Spanish forward is happy with life in Istanbul amid speculation he could leave Turkey this summer.

Fenerbahce striker Roberto Soldado, who transferred at the beginning of the 2017-18 season from Villareal, has expressed his desire to stay with the Turkish club.

There have been reports of several teams from China and the Middle East who have inquired about the player’s availability this summer.

The 33-year-old is adamant he would like to be with Fenerbahce next season as he aims to win the league title.

With Fernandao sold to Al-Wehda and Vincent Janssen gone back to Tottenham upon the completion of his loan, he remains the only striker in the team.

Soldado scored 9 goals and assisted 5 in 26 appearances for his club last season.
