Fenerbahce receive €3m offer for midfielder Tufan

Ozan Tufan is reported to be the subject of a transfer bid from Spanish club Girona.

Fenerbahce’s midfielder Ozan Tufan, who has been essentially frozen out of the first team since last season, could be on his way to Spain. La Liga outfit Girona have tabled a €3 million transfer bid, according to reports from Turkey.

The Turkish player is desperate to get regular playing time and is said to be open to the move.

If the transfer takes place, it would mean the Yellow Canaries made a loss.

Ozan moved to the Istanbul club in the summer of 2015 at age 20, for €7 million from rivals Bursaspor. A lot of hope was pinned on the player but things haven’t exactly turned out as the club was expecting.

This is not the first time the player has been linked with clubs from abroad, either. Last season, there were several clubs who were interested in the his services but a move never materialized.
