Sivasspor sign Genclerbirligi defender Ugur Ciftci

The Super Lig club announced their newest signing today.

Sivasspor have announced the signing of Ugur Ciftci on a free transfer. The defender put pen to paper on a five-year contract with his hometown club.

Ciftci decided to leave Genclerbirligi after they were relegated from the Turkish Super Lig last season, stating his desire is to continue playing in Turkey’s top flight.

The player passed his medical examination today which was completed in Acibadem Altunizade Hospital.

The Sivas-born player has played 264 games and scored 10 goals in his entire career so far.

The 26-year-old has made one international apperance for the Turkish national team.
