Erzurumspor sign Leo Schwechlen from Goztepe

Super Lig’s newest club announced the transfer on their website today.

Leo Schwechlen has signed a three-year contract with Erzurumspor, moving to the newly promoted club on a free transfer.

The club’s president Mevlut Dogan was present during the signing ceremony and spoke briefly about their latest transfer.

“We are trying to sign players of good character, players that will be a good fit for our city. Leo is one of those. We’ve brought a player of very good quality,” he said.

He went on to say the club are trying to make around 10 transfers before the start of the new season.

The French defender said he was happy with the decision to sign for the club, telling fans he was proud to receive their support.
