Another young Turkish player from the lower leagues of Turkey is being picked up by a European club. Istanbulspor full-back Mehmet Zeki Celik has agreed terms with Ligue 1 outfit Lille.
The two clubs are reported to have reached an agreement over the transfer of the talented player.
The 21-year-old has been courted by several European clubs last season as well as the big three (Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, Besiktas) in Turkey.
He is a natural right-back but is also capable of playing as a central defender.
The youngster is a Bursaspor academy product and due to a transfer clause agreement between his former club Bursaspor and Istanbulspor, the Green Crocodiles are entitled to 50% of any future transfer fee.
Last season, Celik scored 3 goals in 36 appearances for Istanbulspor.
