Malaga defender Kone rejects Trabzonspor offer

The Black Sea Storm have turned their attention elsewhere after failing to agree to Kone’s wage demands.

Trabzonspor have failed to sign Malaga defende Bakary Kone. The two parties could not agree on the player’s salary.

Reports emerged claiming Bakary was asking for three times what he is currently earning with Malaga, €370,000, whereas Trabzonspor were willing to pay no more than €700,000.

The player was reported to have said he would need high wages in order to play in Turkey’s top flight.

The Super Lig club are still looking for two central defenders. Iranian Majid Hosseini is on the verge of joining them however he is experiencing passport issues in his native Iran.
