Ankaragucu sign Swedish goalkeeper Hopf

The Super Lig newcomers have added the experienced goalkeeper to their squad.

Ankaragucu have transferred Swedish goalkeeper Johannes Hopf from Genclerbirligi, the club announced today.

The 31-year-old signed a three-year contract with his new club.

During the signing press conference, Hopf said he was happy and proud to join the newly promoted club.

“I’m very happy and proud to be here.I love Ankara very much. Ankaragucu, along with their fans, are a strong a club. I’m sure I will be successful with Anakragucu.”

Johannes spent three seasons at Genclerbirligi before making the move to city rivals Ankaragucu.
