Serdar Aziz: I do not want to play for Inter

Galatasaray’s defender dismissed rumours linking him with a move to Italy.

Serdar Aziz has made it clear he wishes to remain with The Lions. The Galatasaray defender spoke to reporters from their training camp in Switzerland and cooled transfer speculations regarding a potential move to Italy.

“I hope to be among the unforgettable players like Bulent Korkmaz and Popescu. It’s normal for bids to come because we are champions and we had a good season. But I already play at a big club. I have no intention to play at Inter or any other club. I want to stay here and become a legend.”

Aziz has been linked with a move to Inter this summer, allegedly being asked for in a deal during the negotiations for Japanese star Yuto Nagatomo last month.
