Goztepe sign Yasin Oztekin on a free transfer

Recently released from Galatasaray, Yasin has left Istanbul for Izmir.

Goztepe have snapped up Yasin Oztekin for free after the winger’s contract with Galatasaray expired last month.

The 31-year-old penned a two-year contract with the Izmir club.

Goztepe announced the transfer on their website on Tuesday night.

The German-born Turkish international was reported to be in talks with Istanbul Basaksehir and Bursaspor in recent weeks, and was said to have agreed terms with Bursaspor but Goztepe have beaten them to the punch.

He will join his new teammates in the Netherlands today, where they are carrying out part of their pre-season training.
