Besiktas sign Enzo Roco from Cruz Azul

The Black Eagles have brought in defender Enzo Roco after selling Tosic and Mitrovic earlier this summer.

Besiktas have confirmed the transfer of Chilean defender Enzo Roco from Cruzl Azul today. The Turkish club paid €1.3 million for the player’s transfer.

The 25-year-old has penned a three-year contract with the Super Lig giants. Enzo is a unique central defender in that he has an affinity to dribble past the midfield with the ball and take part in the attacking phase of the team’s play.

Born in 1992 in Chile, Roco previously played for Chile’s CD Universidad Catolica, Spanish teams Elche and Espanyol, and Mexican club Cruz Azul. He has won the Copa America with Chile in 2016.

Last season he scored 2 goals in 31 appearances for Cruz Azul.

They also announced the signing of another player, 26-year-old forward Umut Nayir from Osmanlispor for €250,000.
