Belhanda: I don’t want to go to England

The Moroccan midfielder has expressed his desire to remain with The Lions.

Galatasaray’s Moroccan star Younes Belhanda will remain with the club, according to the player himself.

He was linked with a move to English Premier League outfit Crystal Palace, however, he has essentially shut down any potential move to England.

“I am more ambitious this year and will work harder to be more helpful to the team. I’m happy at Galatasaray. I’m going to play in the Champions League here. I don’t want to go to England. I’m happy here,” he was quoted as saying by beIN Sports.

In his first season with The Lions, the Moroccan international scored 3 goals and made 8 assists in 30 appearances.

His contract runs until 2021.
