Goztepe complete Titi transfer

The Brazilian defender has swapped Bursa for Izmir.

Goztepe have completed the signing of Cristian Chagas Tarouco, or Titi as he is more commonly known, from Super Lig rivals Bursaspor.

The 30-year-old defender put pen to paper on a two-year-contract with an optional one year extension.

He began his career in his native homeland with Internacional before finding his way to Kasimpasa in July 2015. Having impressed with the Istanbul club, the Green Crocodiles signed him on a free transfer two years later in the summer of 2017.

Now, an established centre-back in the Super Lig, he has moved on to Goztepe for a transfer fee of €500,000.

So far, he has made a total of 97 Super Lig appearances and has scored 10 goals.

The defender took to his social media account to thank Bursaspor’s staff and supporters as he announced his transfer.
