Trabzonspor’s Nwakaeme: Nothing is impossible

The Black Sea Storm forward scored his first two goals for his club during the derby against The Lions on Saturday.

Anthony Nwakaeme was over the moon with his performance during his team’s emphatic victory over rivals Galatasaray in Trabzon on Saturday evening. The Nigerian international bagged two goals as Trabzonspor shocked the Super Lig champions.

Speaking to reporters after the game, he said;

“We were the better side tonight. We played against a very good team. But we are also a big team. It’s a victory that makes us very happy. There is nothing that is impossible. In the other teams I played against I was the same. I always worked hard with that way of thinking. We used our home advantage to the best of our abilities. We knew our strengths. The victory was well deserved.”

He also paid homage to the supporters.

“It’s difficult to describe them. They are incredible. They deserved this victory. This victory is for them.”
