Gabriel Torje: I want to help Sivasspor

The Romanian striker vows to do his best for his new club.

Sivasspor’s newest signing, Gabriel Torje, has spoken of his happiness in joining the club.

The 28-year-old striker made the move to Sivas from Russian club Akhmat Grozny on a free transfer on the final day of the summer transfer window. The Romanian international penned a one-year deal with Sivasspor.

He spoke to journalists before his team’s training session in preparation for their upcoming Super Lig clash with Bursaspor.

“I want to contribute to the team. We have a good side and a good coach. I really want to help Sivasspor and I’ll use the experience I have from abroad and my time in the Super Lig,” he said.

Sivasspor is Torje’s fourth team in Turkey after Konyaspor, Osmanlispor and Karabukspor.
