Zargo Toure happy to live in Turkey

The Black Sea Storm’s new transfer Zargo Toure is enjoying life in Turkey.

One of Trabzonspor’s new transfers, Zargo Toure, has made a good start to life in Turkey. The Senegalese defender spoke to local media in Trabzon and explained his feelings and impressions from his time in Trabzon thus far.

“To be a part of Trabzonspor’s history is a great honor for me. The club believed in me, the coach and staff have supported me. I want to repay their faith in me. I’m also hoping to help the team qualify for the Champions League,” he said.

The 28-year-old moved to Trabzonspor from French club Lorient FC last month.

Zargo went on to say he is hoping to establish himself as a regular in the first team.

“If the coach gives me the opportunity, I will play. I feel good. I’m at a club that is known in Europe and one of the biggest teams in Turkey. Like I said before, Turkey is my second home. To live in a Muslim country gives me strength. We are Muslims and we must go to the mosque and pray. I try not to miss prayers whenever I have free time from training. To wake up to the prayer call in the morning is a feeling I cannot describe,” he explained.
