Robinho in talks with Sivasspor over new deal

The Brazilian star is currently in talks with Sivasspor over a new deal.

Sivasspor forward Robinho has revealed his intention to remain with the Super Lig club while talking to reporters this week.

The 34-year-old is in the final year of his deal and will be a free agent at the end of the season.

The former Real Madrid striker told reporters he is in talks with Sivasspor’s president over a new deal and wants to remain with the club.

“I have a simple life here; I go from home to training and back. I have the opportunity to do what I love here. I hope to give Turkish football and the fans even more joy in the future. Before coming here, I only knew of Istanbul. I had spoken with Roberto Carlos and Cicinho. They said very positive things. They explained to me how the supporters of the club have a great affinity towards the players. That’s why I chose this club.”

“God willing, I will stay at Sivasspor. I had a meeting with our president. It was positive. I hope we can come to an agreement so I can stay for many more years.”

He has played in every one of Sivasspor’s league games so far this season.
