Kasimpasa at odds with Trezeguet

The Istanbul club are keen on keeping hold of one of their main stars at least until the end of the season.

Kasimpasa and their star midfielder Trezeguet have settled their differences for now, according to a statement released by the club.

The Egyptian international is reported to have met, without permission, with a club from Saudi Arabia over a potential lucrative transfer.

Kasimpasa have turned down several offers for the player, including a bid from the aforementioned Saudi Arabian club, which triggered the Egyptian star to react negatively.

For the entire past week, he refused to train with the first team and carried out his training alone to protest against the club’s decision.

The Super Lig side are reported to be holding out for at least €10 million.

Sources close to the club are claiming both parties, club and player, have worked things out amongst each other.

The 24-year-old had inked a new deal with Kasimpasa at the beginning of the season, which has no set release clause.

Numerous clubs are said to be monitoring the player with clubs such as Lazio and VfB Sttutgart and a summer exit is all but certain for the in-demand midfielder.
