Kasimpasa part ways with eight players

The Istanbul club to let go of EIGHT players as they attempt to rebuild their team during the mid-season break.

Turkish Super Lig outfit Kasimpasa have decided to part ways with eight of their first team players.

After a poor showing during the first half of the season, Kasimpasa’s administration feel they need to change things up if they are to avoid relegation come the end of the season as they find themselves just one point above the relegation zone.

The Istanbul outfit is currently in 14th place with just 15 points after 17 games of Super Lig action. They are one point above the relegation zone and

The players who have been told they are no longer wanted at the club are;

Strahil Popov, Veysel Sari, Olivier Veugneu, Karim Hafez, Ugurcan Yazgili, Azad Topik, Mustafa Pektemek and Abdul Khalili.

On the other hand, two players who will remain with the team at least until the second half of the season are Ricardo Quaresma and Aytac Kara.
