Malatyaspor want to make Guilherme loan permanent

The Super Lig club have been impressed with his performances in the first half of the season and are working to make his stay permanent.

Malatyaspor are negotiating with Guilherme’s parent club, Italian Serie B side Benevento, hoping to reach a permanent deal for the attacking midfielder.

The Turkish club’s president Adil Gevrek spoke to a Turkish radio program about the club’s plans in the upcoming transfer window, saying he wants to see the Brazilian remain with the club.

According to Gevrek, the Italians are asking for €3 million to sell the player but the Turkish club can only afford half of that at the moment.

Guilherme joined Malatyaspor at the beginning of the season and has been one of the club’s key players, helping them rise up to second place in the Super Lig. He has made 14 league appearances and 1 cup appearance.

The 27-year-old has scored 3 goals and assisted 7 so far.

His loan expires on June 30 2019 but could stay beyond that date if the two teams can come to an agreement.
