Kasimpasa sign two promising youngsters

The Istanbul club have added two young talents to their squad.

Kasimpasa have announced the transfers of two young players on Friday. The Super Lig club have signed winger Azad Toptik and midfielder Tobias Heintz.

Toptik, a 19-year-old Turkish winger born in Germany, has joined from VfB Stuttgart’s academy. Sitting alongside Kasimpasa football director Nursal Bilgin, he penned a two-and-a-half year contract on Friday.

“I’m happy to be at Kasimpasa. I can’t wait to win lots of matches here. I haven’t seen such a large and beautiful facility before. Our squad is good enough to be Super Lig champions and if we have the chance, we will be,” he said during the signing press conference.

Heintz, on the other hand, a 20-year-old Norwegian midfielder, has arrived from Norwegian outfit Sarpsborg 08. The player has signed a three-and-a-half year deal with Kasimpasa.

The transfer fee is reported to be between €1 million and €1.5 million.

The Turkish club had several bids turned down before eventually reaching a deal with Sarpsborg for the talented youngster.
