Fenerbahce to face Zenit in Europa League

The Yellow Canaries will line up against Zenit St Petersburg in Istanbul on Tuesday.

The Europa League resumes on Tuesday February 12 as the tournament heads into the knockout rounds. Fenerbahce will host Russian heavyweights Zenit in the first leg of their Round of 32 duel at Ulker Stadium in Istanbul on Tuesday evening.

Kick-off is set for 8:55PM Istanbul time.

The Super Lig club are struggling to perform on the pitch and will be hoping to put their league woes behind them as they try to advance to the next round of the Europe League.

They will be without Roberto soldado, Mehmet Ekici, Nabil Dirar, Serdar Aziz and Miha Zajc who were not registered for the remainder of the competition.

While Fenerbahce are in 14th place in the domestic league, the Russian club are on the opposite end of the scale, leading the Russian top flight with 34 points.

Turkey’s other representative, Galatasaray, will face Benfica on Thursday February 14 in their Round of 32 clash.
