Hamza Hamzaoglu appointed Erzurumspor coach

The Turkish coach has signed on to take charge of the Eastern Turkey club.

Erzurumspor have confirmed the appointment of Hamza Hamzaoglu as the club’s head coach on Wednesday.

The former Galatasaray coach has signed a one-and-a-half year contract with the Super Lig minnows and has been tasked with keeping the team in the league come the end of the season.

The club announced the appointment on their official Twitter account on Wednesday evening.

The 49-year-old, who has been unemployed since parting ways with Antalyaspor at the end of last season, is replacing the previous coach Mehmet Ozdilek who was sacked earlier this week.
