Alanyaspor want Sergen Yalcin to stay

The resort town club are happy to keep the Turkish coach at the helm.

Alanyaspor president Hasan Cavusoglu is satisfied with current coach Sergen Yalcin’s work and wants him to stay with the club despite the reports linking him with other Super Lig clubs.

Speaking to reporters, Cavusoglu said if Yalcin wishes to remain, he would be happy to have him.

“If our coach Sergen wants to stay, of course, we want to continue with him,” he said.

The club’s president also refuted claims that they have received offers for Yalcin.

“Recently, there have been many things written by some media outlets. Some of them write whatever comes to their mind but until now, we have no received an offer for our coach. Our agreement with our coach remains until the end of the season. If he wishes to stay, we want him to continue.

“If Sergen wants to become the coach of a big club and even if we have a contract, we won’t get in his way. If he tells us, ‘I want to go to a big club’, we won’t stop him. The same applies for our players, as I’ve done before,” he said.
