Alanyaspor snap up Juanfran from Deportivo

The resort town club have completed the transfer of Juanfran from Spanish outfit Deportivo La Coruna.

Super Lig minnows Alanyaspor have announced the signing of Spanish right-back Juanfram from Deportivo La Coruna on Monday.

The 30-year-old, whose full name is Juan Francisco Moreno Fuertes, was presented to the public at a press conference held at the club’s facilities in Alanya where he signed a two-year contract with a one-year extension.

Despite having many offers, the experienced right-back chose to join Alanyaspor, according to the club’s president Hasan Cavusoglu.

The Spaniard said he believes in the club’s project and chose Alanyaspor specifically.

“Although there were many offers, I specifically chose Alanyaspor. I believe in Alanya’s project. They work very well. They have put together a good team. I came to make Alanya a better club,” the club’s new signing told reporters at the ceremony.

Juanfran also revealed that he is good friends with Turkish midfielder Emre Colak, who plays for the Spanish club.
