Malatyaspor coach: We want to see fans at our stadium

The club’s head coach is asking for supporters to back the team as they look to finish the season strong.

Malatyaspor coach Ali Ravci spoke to reporters ahead of their Super Lig fixture against Alanyaspor on Sunday, April 14.

Ravci said he is hoping to see many supporters in the stands as they take on their opponents.

“We want to see our supporters with us at the stadium. If there are fans, then the win is meaningful. But if the stands are empty then points and goals have no meaning. We want to win against Alanyaspor with our fans by our side and move on towards the second leg of the Turkish Cup semi-final.

“There are a lot of Super Lig teams that want to be in our position. We need to understand the value and importance of our position,” the club’s coach said.

Malatyaspor have been one of the surprise packages of the season, finding themselves in fifth place, out-performing several other teams despite spending very little on transfers.
