Caykur Rizespor striker Vedat Muriqi is wanted by Ligue 1 outfit Toulouse who have scouted the player and made an offer for his transfer, according to the player’s agent Haluk Canatar.
Speaking to Radyospor, Canatar revealed the French club made an offer to Rizespor for the transfer of his client.
“I have been Vedat’s representative for 5 years. We went through the Giresunspor, Genclerbirligi and Rizespor transfers together. He put everything behind him and improved his performance.”
“French club Toulouse forwaded their offer for the transfer of Vedat Muriqi to Rizespor. Toulouse’s sporting director Ali Rachedi watched Vedat during the Basaksehir and Besiktas games and he was impressed. I do not know anything about Vedat’s transfer fee,” Canatar revealed.
Canatar also denied the rumours of a Fenerbahce offer on the table.
“There have not been any offers for Vedat from Fenerbahce. They did, however, ask about the terms of his contract and questions about him. But I repeat; there has not been an official offer from Fenerbahce. If there is one, the first meeting will be with Rizespor, not me,” his agent said.
