Kasimpasa appoint Ibrahim Uzulmez as coach

The Istanbul club have hired the Turkish coach to lead them into next season.

After parting ways with recently promoted Genclerbirligi just days ago, Ibrahim Uzulmez has been named the new coach of Kasimpasa.

Uzulmez has been brought in to replace the now-departed Mustafa Denizli, who left the team after a disastrous second half of the season.

The Turkish coach has made a name for himself for getting teams promoted to the Turkish top flight.

Having guided Caykur Rizespor to promotion from the second tier during the 2017-2018 season, he managed to repeat the feat with Genclerbirligi this past season. Thanks to Uzulmez, the Ankara based club are now back in the Super Lig for the upcoming season.

The former Turkish international, nicknamed “Deli Ibo” in Turkish, which translates to “Crazy Ibo”, will be presented to the public in the coming days.
