Caykur Rizespor hire Ismail Kartal

The Northeastern club have quickly found a new coach after parting ways with Okan Buruk.

Caykur Rizespor have reached an agreement with Ismail Kartal to take over the club as head coach for the upcoming Super Lig season.

Earlier this week, club spokesperson Hasan Yavuz Bakir revealed week that they were unable to agree to terms with coach Okan Buruk, who has now left the club.

Bakir confirmed Ismail Kartal’s appointment and wished the club success under their new man. The club announced their new coach via their official social media accounts.

Kartal’s signing ceremony will be held after Ramadan has passed, according to Bakir.
