Monaco offer €19m for Trabzonspor youngster

The French giants have made an official bid for Turkish youngster Abdulkadir Omur.

Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco have tabled an official bid worth €19 million for Trabzonspor’s promising midfielder Abdulkadir Omur.

The French club are reported to rate the Turkish youngster highly and are hoping to convince Trabzonspor president Ahmet Agaoglu to sell one of their prized assets. It is not the first the Omur has been linked with a move away from the club.

The offer is €16 million upfront with €3 million in add-ons and 15 percent of the player’s next transfer.

However, Trabzonspor are reported to be unwilling to sell their highly rated player this summer and have rejected the French club’s initial offer.

With the Turkish summer transfer window open, Monaco could increase their offer in the coming days.

Omur made 32 official appearances for the Turkish club this past season during which he scored 5 goals and made 9 assists.
