Genoa sign forward Gumus from Galatasaray

The Italian outfit have signed the Turkish forward from the Super Lig champions.

Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray have sold their German-born forward Sinan Gumus to Genoa, both clubs confirmed on Friday.

The Serie A club announced on their official website that the 25-year-old has signed a multi-year contract with them.

Gumus, who played for Galatasaray since 2014, was released by Galatasaray upon the expiration of his deal and was a free agent.

During his five-year stint with The Lions, the German-born Turk won eight trophies including three Super Lig titles.

He leaves Galatasaray having made a total of 116 appearances during which he scored 33 goals.
