Fenerbahce to play Euro giants in Audi Cup

The Yellow Canaries will line up against some of the best teams in the world as they prepare for the upcoming season.

Turkish football giants Fenerbahce have been invited to participate in the biennial Audi Cup this week.

Starting on Tuesday, Fenerbahce will play against Bayern Munich while Real Madrid will line up against Tottenham Hotspur in the tournament’s first matches at the Allianz Arena in Munich.

The Audi Cup is a two-day football tournament hosted in Germany that takes place every two years. The 2019 edition will feature some of Europe’s biggest clubs including Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Tottenham.

The winners of the duels will meet in the final on Wednesday, July 31.

Since 2009, there have been five Audi Cup tournaments. German heavyweights Bayern Munich have won the tournment three times while Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have won it once each.

Fenerbahce’s squad for the tournament will consist of;

Harun Tekin, Altay Bayindir, Oytun Ozdogan, Mauricio Isla, Batuhan Yilmaz, Sadik Ciftpinar, Diego Reyes, Murat Saglam, Hasan Ali Kaldirim, Abdulcebrail Akbulut, Emre Belozoglu, Jailson, Ozan Tufan, Mehmet Ekici, Miha Zajc, Max Kruse, Ferdi Kadioglu, Victor Moses, Nabil Dirar, Alper Potuk, Garry Rodrigues, Muhammed Gumuskaya, Vedat Muriqi, Michael Frey, Allahyar Sayyadmanesh, Yusuf Mert Tunc.

Fenerbahce’s clash with Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena will kick off at 9:30PM Istanbul Time on Tuesday.
