Toulouse loan Isimat-Mirin from Besiktas

The French centre-back will spend 2019-2020 with the Ligue 1 club.

Ligue 1 outfit Toulouse have signed defender Nicolas Isimat-Mirin from Besiktas on a one-season loan with an option to buy.

The transfer was confirmed by both clubs on Wednesday via their official websites.

The 27-year-old joined Super Lig giants Besiktas from PSV Eindhoven in January 2019 for €350,000.

Newly appointed Besiktas coach Abdullah Avci is reported to prefer other players in his position and has made it clear that the French defender has no place in his tactical setup.

Isimat Mirin made 14 appearances for the Turkish club since his arrival in the January transfer window last season.
