Fenerbahce chasing AC Milan left-back Rodriguez

The Yellow Canaries are exhausting their financial abilities in order to sign AC Milan full-back Ricardo Rodriguez.

Turkish football powerhouse Fenerbahce are in discussions with AC Milan left-back Ricardo Rodriguez, according to reports in Turkey and Italy.

The Swiss international has failed to break into the the first time in Milan and is looking for a team that will offer him more playing time, which Fenerbahce are willing to guarantee.

The Turkish club are facing competition from Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven, however, who are also in the race to sign the player.

Fenerbahce have made a bid to sign Rodriguez on an initial loan with the option to make his transfer permanent for €6 million.

The Yellow Canaries are also offering a higher wage packet compared to their Dutch counterpart.

According to reports, Fenerbahce have offered Rodriguez a salary of nearly €4 million in order to convince the left-back to make the switch to Istanbul.
