Spor Toto wins Super Lig naming rights

Turkish Super Lig will continue to be associated with Spor Toto, the betting company.

For the remainder of the 2017/2018 season as well as 2018/2019, the Super Lig will continue to be sponsored by Spor Toto. The deal includes the the 2nd tier of Turkish football, the First League (1. Lig).

The betting company has been the sponsor of the Turkish top flight since 2010. While the details of the deal have not been publicly reveleaed, estimates have been pegged at over $30 million dollars per year. The previous sponsorship was worth an annual $25 million dollars, according to Sponsors.de.

Digiturk, the league’s rights holder, had been bought by Qatari-based BeIN Media Group back in October 2015.
