Ertugrul Saglam: This will be Kayserispor’s season

The experienced coach is hopeful for the upcoming season.

Kayserispor’s new manager Ertugrul Saglam spoke to members of the press before his club’s training session in Erzurum today. The Turkish coach said he thinks Kayserispor will do well in the 2018/19 season of the Turkish Super Lig.

“We’ve spent the first stage of our training camp on adaptation exercises. Here in Erzurum we upped the tempo. Now, we’ve completed our training Erzurum and on the 18th of July we will fly to the Netherlands where we will continue to train.”

“This upcoming season will be Kayserispor’s season. We will do things in the name of Turkish football. We will play attractive football for the fans and also for those to see what we are capable of. We are still working on transfers. We’ve met with some players. We expect to add a new name during our camp in Holland.”

Saglam was appointed as the club’s manager in May after parting ways with Iranian side Tractor Sazi.
