Belgian star Nacer Chadli heavily linked with Besiktas

The Black Eagles are still looking for a “number 10” this summer after the departure of Talsica, with Nacer Chadli being touted as a possible replacement.

West Bromwich Albion’s winger Nacer Chadli has been heavily linked with a move to Turkish giants Besiktas this summer. According to reports in England and Turkey, the player has held talks with Besiktas and has allegedly agreed terms with the Istanbul club.

However, the two clubs are yet to shake hands as they are still trying to hash out a deal, most likely a season-long loan.

West Brom are currently playing in the Championship, England’s second division, after being relegated last year, something the Belgian player is not interested in being a part of.

While, the English transfer window for signing players has closed, clubs can still sell players to clubs whose windows are still open.

Besiktas have sent representatives to England to meet with West Brom’s player and the club’s officials, but are yet to finalize the deal.

It is reported that the English club are holding out for a higher figure than what the Turkish club are currently offering.
