Passolig card sales strong early in season

The sales of Passolig cards have been strong since the beginning of the season, with Galatasaray having sold the most out of any other club.

After the short international break, Turkish Super Lig action will resume this weekend with the fifth week of fixtures. The latest figures of Passolig cards sold have been announced and as expected by many, Galatasaray have sold the most cards out of any other Turkish club.

Unsurprisingly, Fenerbahce and Besiktas make up the second and third place in terms of sales, respectively.

While Kasimpasa is currently leading the table with first place, they have sold the least amount with 14,207 cards sold.

  • Good evening,
I'm a foreigner who will be in Istanbul in October.
I already bought a ticket online for the CL match Galatasaray vs Schalke.
Could you kindly inform me whether I need to have a Passolig card for a Champions League match?
If yes, since I already have a ticket would I be able to buy only the Passolig card in Istanbul?
Thank you very much for your assistance!

    • Hi Neil,

We responded to your questions under one of the other articles you posted (Super Lig attendance article). Please see the link for the detailed reply.

Yes, if you have your ticket purchased from a third-party seller (not Passolig), you won't have to re-purchase the ticket, just the Passolig card.
For Galatasaray's Champions League games this season, you will need a passolig card as well. In recent years, it wasn't mandatory but this season it is.

For the detailed reply on how to apply for and get the Passolig card in Istanbul, see the reply on the above link.
