Gokhan Tore to leave Besiktas end of season

The Turkish winger has been frustrated with his lack of playing time at Vodafone Park.

Gokhan Tore will leave The Black Eagles in the summer, according to the player’s agent, Ali Pektas.

The Turkey international has been frozen out of the first team after falling out with Senol Gunes and has been officially excluded from the team for the remainder of the season.

Pektas revealed that Tore is planning to terminate his deal with Besiktas at the end of the season in order to find regular playing time elsewhere.

He also revealed the 27-year-old had talks with an undisclosed Italian club over a potential transfer in January, however, they were unable to agree on the player’s wage demands.

Tore took to his official Instagram page earlier this month to vent his frustration with the situation and explain to Besiktas supporters that he is not injured nor unwilling to play.

Pektas said he is shopping his client to teams in Italy and Spain as a potential destination this summer.
