Super Lig outfit Goztepe are hoping to bring Portuguse midfielder Manuel Fernandes back to the league.
According to club officials, the club’s president, Mehmet Sepil, is in advanced talks with Fernandes’ agent about a potential move to the Super Lig.
The 33-year-old midfielder, who played for Besiktas before joining Russian giants Lokomotiv Moscow, is a free agent since his deal with the Russian club expired this month.
Reports in Turkey claim the experienced midfielder is open to a move to Goztepe and a deal could be announced in the coming days.
Fernandes has played for some of the biggest clubs in Europe during his lengthy career, including Benfica, Valencia, Everton, Besiktas and Lokomotiv Moscow.
